Panels

 

My glass panels are spontaneous two- and three-dimensional works designed with light in mind, light from door or window, working with the ever-changing light to create many works from the one piece. The texture, reflections, and refracted light of each are as integral to the work as its colour and form.

 
Panels blown open in the kiln, creating portal-like openings, a window to the scene beyond.

Portals

 

These portal panels frame the world beyond the work.

 
Sparkling, bubbling, shining

Laminated panels

 

These works use the light-changing character of fractured glass, highlighted in ink, to create bubbling and highly detailed bright panels of safe, laminated, glass.
