An artwork for the table. This functional artwork (it holds fruit beautifully!) is formed by my hammered and fused glass technique, which catches, concentrates, and scatters the light.

This is a vessel in all the traditional senses of the word... but is unusual, taking a new and refreshing look at the linkage between art and utility.

It is an artwork, pure and simple, designed to be seen horizontally. Yet it is also a vessel, pure and simple. When used as a vessel, its contents become part of the artwork itself.
